Band Starts THIS Friday!

Hello Everyone!

Looking forward to seeing each of you this Friday to resume band classes! Hope your summer was a relaxing, enjoyable one. Can't wait to make some great music together!

Don't forget to bring your instrument, black three-ringed binder with page protectors, music books and music stand to class (intermediate and advanced bands only). Beginners will be provided with what they need unless other arrangements have been made with a director.

Please be at your class 15 minutes early so we can start and end classes promptly.

Registration ($65 for returning members not needing a shirt, $75 for those needing a shirt, $65 for beginners) and Sept. tuition are due this Friday. Please don't be late so we can pay our bills! =-)

Keep on practicing- it all pays off!

Blessings,

Karen

Band Assignment, due 5/13/11

No new assignments except everyone is to write a paragraph describing how you will make progress on your instrument during the summer. Include practice time goals, method books, solo books, private teachers, technical studies, and anything you think would help you make progress this summer. Just describe your plan. (You DO have a plan, right?) You may call any of the teachers for advice on this assignment. I will ask for these in class!

Practice diligently for our concert.
