DON'T FORGET TO PREPARE FOR A CHURCH OR FAMILY PERFORMANCE OVER THE WINTER BREAK! LET ONE OF THE DIRECTORS KNOW IF YOU NEED SOME MUSIC. =-)

ALSO, PLEASE WASH YOUR NEW BAND SHIRT AND HAVE IT READY WITH YOUR KHAKI PANTS OR SKIRT FOR THE CONCERT FRIDAY. PLEASE THANK MRS. SONDRA FOR HER BEAUTIFUL EMBROIDERY ON THESE SHIRTS!

Intermediate Brass and Percussion:

* Warm-up each day on any of the chromatic warm-ups on pp. 14-17.

* Next week we will finish the pass-offs on scales.

* Sheet music: Lexington March (work on articulation), Shoo fly Rock (count the buzzing notes correctly),

* Star-Spangled Banner (rhythm where meter changes).

* Write beats in on entire rhythm sheet

* New material: White book, page 60 and 61, Chromatic scales #1 through #4.

Intermediate Woodwinds:
