Beginning Band:
Hey, Beginning Band Members!! Here's a reminder of your assignment: numbers 14-19 on page 6, and measures 17 through 28 in the rhythm section in the back of the book. Happy playing!!
Intermediate Band:
See the assignment from 9/9/11 (last week) and follow the instructions for practicing with the following exceptions:
- Theory worksheet: Complete all the major key signatures on the circle of fifths.
- Rhythm: Practice the same as last week
- Allstate etude: Learn through the second line
- Maxwell Book: "Blues No. 1 and Exercise 2."
Sheet music: Armed Forces Salute, Festival of Hymns. You do not need to practice "I Will Sing of the Mercies of the Lord" anymore. Please learn your parts to these two pieces!!
Advanced Band:
See the assignment from 9/9/11 (last week) and follow the instructions for practicing with the following exceptions:
- Theory worksheet: Complete the names of the minor keys on the circle of fifths.
- Maxwell: "Four Square" 2 play-throughs a day plus working trouble spots
- Allstate etude: Be prepared to play through the second line.
