Time for BANDTASTIC and STRINGSATIONAL!!!!
Registration begins on Friday for Bandtastic and Stringsational. We have a limited number of slots for each program, so if you are interested, please send in your registration forms right away. Questions? Just ask. Tons of folks have gone and will be willing to share their experiences. We do have a limited number of spots, so please register early!
BANDTASTIC and STRINGSATIONAL are fabulous one day festivals with guest conductors where we meet with other homeschoolers and have a blast! We are blessed to have wonderful directors this year, as usual.
Leading our orchestra students is April Pettus. April has her Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia. Currently, April teaches orchestra at Joyful Noise and maintains a private piano & violin studio while being a wife and homeschooling mom of three girls.
Our Concert Band director is undecided at the moment. The director has been contacted, we're just waiting confirmation before we release names.
Eric Willoughby will be leading our symphonic band. Eric is the Band director of Woodland High School in Cartersville. Their marching band was the Georgia Invitational Band Championship Grand Champions AND Creekview Classic Grand Champions!!! Eric and his wife, Rebecca's, daughter, Sarah, plays Horn in the Joyful Noise Advanced band.
We are delighted to have such wonderful instructors.
This is a great one day intensive that your student will never forget. If your child has at least 1.5 yrs experience and wants to be challenged and rewarded while having fun, this is an event they won't want to miss.

BANDTASTIC and STRINGSATIONAL TAKE PLACE ON FEBRUARY 26TH AT REINHARDT COLLEGE IN WALESKA.
Check-in is at 8:30. Once again for only $25 you will receive a full day of instruction, snacks, lunch and the much coveted BANDTASTIC or STRINGSATIONAL t-shirt. Plus you'll be a part of a fabulous concert at 3:00. Be sure and register early so you will not miss this event. One hundred plus Georgia Homeschoolers will come. It will be a blast!
